Basic Procurement and Purchasing Policy

In the course of its procurement and purchasing activities, the Mitsui-Soko Express Procurement and Purchasing Division will take care to do business fairly and honestly. The Division will conduct all procurement and purchasing activities in accordance with the following policy.

1. Compliance with Laws and Societal Norms
   We will adhere to and honor the essence of all relevant laws and societal norms throughout our procurement and purchasing transactions.
2. Client Selection Policy
   In order to build more positive relationships with our clients, we consider the following conditions of utmost importance when selecting clients.
   
   1. Clients must honor laws and societal norms, respect human rights, and be considerate of working conditions.
   2. Clients must work proactively to conserve the environment and maintain safety.
   3. Clients must be financially healthy and have reasonable standards for product quality, price, and delivery.
3. Maintaining Business Impartiality
   Throughout our procurement and purchasing activities, we will keep our doors wide open and provide fair business opportunities to both domestic and overseas clients.
4. Environmental Compatibility
   We will do our part to conserve the environment by procuring and purchasing environmentally friendly products and services.
