Marine Transportation

Proposing optimal transportation in line with our customers' requests

We negotiate and execute contracts of carriage with each shipping company based on factors such as the total volume of cargo, items, delivery dates, etc. For shipping, we offer marine transportation services and freight rates tailored to the characteristics of each customer's cargo while centralizing the contact point through the issuance of Combined Transport Bill of Lading (CTB/L).

For international door-to-door transportation, we issue House Bill of Lading (HBL) and arrange NVOCC (Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carrier) marine transportation and inland transportation to the destination with a firm sense of responsibility. By flexibly responding to transportation cost, route, and schedule to suit customers' requests, we propose the optimal service.

In addition to “Door to Door,” we also provide FCL cargo of “CY-CY (Container Yard to Container Yard)” and LCL cargo of “CFS-CFS (Container Freight Station to Container Freight Station)” to offer global marine transportation services that connect the overseas regions requested by our customers.

Moreover, in regards to sea container transportation, containers that have undergone the devanning process must be returned to port, therefore presenting issues such as reduced transportation efficiency and increased CO2 emissions in excess empty container transportation. MITSUI-SOKO Group promotes container round use initiatives and contributes to the streamlining of transportation and reduction of environmental impact.
